Holm HVAC Specialist, Inc. specialized in the application, installation, and service of direct fired make-up air systems. A direct fired make-up air unit is used when fresh air has to be introduced from outdoors for ventilation purposes in order to preserve proper indoor air quality.
During the winter months, the outdoor air entering the system is heated directly by the combustion of natural gas by an air burner. This system is ideal for certain heavier commercial and industrial applications, and not recommended for places where people may sleep, or climate controlled retail settings.
